Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American broadcaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN and is anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. She began working for ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has led to her obtaining the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In her position, she had the opportunity to collaborate with national program producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was then recruited by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. At some point they moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. She divorced her parents shortly thereafter and, in the year 1995, she got married to an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. On a trip, Antonietta stayed at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered a new job. Antonietta was a senior high school student, but she was very aware of what she wanted to do in her future career. She went to Mount Union University in order to see if it was a good fit for her. Then she fell in love with the campus. They also offered her a the opportunity to study a major. After graduation, she attended the University as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. His passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities inspired her.
